Filmed both on the door and table. Tapo D210 looked sharper day/night and can call your phone when someone rings. Budget the sub if you need those Tapo features.
Eufy 2E still wins human vs animal and hits the phone sooner. No monthly fee for the replay/alerts I actually use. Packages under the unit → E340 honorable mention.
Deal card below is Tapo D210 only — the locked ASIN on this page. Eufy stays as live-listing links in the post; prices move.
TP-Link dropped the Tapo D210 — $69 when I bought it. I already had the popular ~$80 Eufy doorbell on the house for a little over a year. Not sponsored. Tapo looks sharper (real 2K day/night). Eufy wins human vs animal and faster phone notifies. Tapo can call your phone when someone rings — Eufy doesn’t. Some Tapo features sit behind a monthly plan; Eufy doesn’t charge rent to replay clips. Check the live listings.
Tapo D210 and Eufy 2E — both on the door. Honorable mention: Eufy E340 if packages vanish.

What I actually showed

Both units on the door (old button still on siding). Both on the table. Side-by-side daytime video/audio. Tapo ring → phone call demo. Push-notification vs call. Porch sharpness still.
Which looks sharper?
Tapo D210: 2K — clear and crisp even at night. Looks like 2K.
Eufy 2E: also rated 2K; on my porch it doesn’t look as sharp as Tapo. Still pretty clear — just not as sharp.
What Eufy still does better
Eufy human detection distinguishes people vs animals a little better than Tapo — shines day and night.
Notifications hit my phone sooner than Tapo — massive surprise.
Eufy: no monthly subscription to use the services I care about. Some Tapo features (including ones I showed) sit behind a monthly plan.
Feature I wish Eufy had: when someone rings the Tapo, it calls my phone and I’m on with the person at the door. Eufy does not do that. Tapo app menus clearer / easier navigation.
Battery, install, E340, who goes where
Both battery, not wired. Boxes talk ~120 hours — not my house. Traffic, animals, we walk past all day → I pull them about once a month, winter or summer. How often it pings you is the battery, not the weather. Hate charging? Get wired.
Install ~30 minutes to an hour either way. Tapo adhesive option on a flat wall. Both drill templates. Easy attach/detach with the special key.
Honorable mention: Eufy E340 — front camera plus bottom camera so you see packages under the unit. Not the ~$80 unit I lived with for a year.
Who from the video: sharper picture + phone-call ring → Tapo (budget the sub). No monthly fee + faster person alerts → Eufy 2E. Packages under the doorbell → E340.
Spec strip
Said on camera: Tapo D210 $69 purchase-time; Eufy ~$80 popular unit ~1 year on house; not sponsored; both 2K-rated; Tapo sharper day/night; Eufy better human/animal + faster notifies; Tapo phone-call on ring; Tapo app clearer; some Tapo features behind monthly sub; Eufy no monthly; Eufy motion can be overly sensitive (my road); both battery; ~120 hrs box vs ~monthly recharge; install 30–60 min; Tapo adhesive; both drill templates; E340 dual cam for packages.
Listing: Spec, not permanent prices — current prices / plans move. Check the live listings.

For E340: packages under the doorbell.
Not for either battery unit: people who hate monthly charging — go wired.
