I flushed the Simpure RO on my counter. Araya drank the filtered glass.

Key takeaways

Quick take. Countertop Simpure RO — open, fill the tank, plug in, it starts. No under-sink plumbing on the path I filmed.

First setup needs about 3 to 5 flushes. After that, install bubbles were gone. Araya picked the filtered glass in a blind taste and drank all of it.

I unboxed this in the kitchen and ran it.

I called it the Simpure reverse osmosis filtration system. Also the reverse osmosis Simpure water filter. Also the Simpure water filter.

And yes, there’s a box inside the box.

What I actually did with it

Simpure tank after flush, bubbles gone

Countertop setup (what I showed): Setting it up is super easy. Literally open it up. Fill it up with water. Plug it in. It starts the process automatically. That’s the whole path I ran on the kitchen counter — tank fill, power, it goes.

No plumbing on this pass: I did not hook it under a sink. I did not run a drain line. Countertop only — fill the tank, plug it in, let it run. If you need an install RO, this video is not that.

Flush / setup friction: When you first get the machine — and anytime you change and install new filters — you go through the flushing process. It flushes its system out and rotates the water so the filters are ready. About three to five times. Not a big deal. It does take a minute to get set up. If the water has an off taste, do it one more time. They recommend the 3 to 5 flushes when you get a brand new filter, or right when you get your device and set it up for the first time.

After the flushes: I went through the flushing process and refilled this filtration system. First thing I noted — no more bubbles. That bubble stuff from first install was gone.

Filtration / use outcome I showed: While it filtered, I set up three cups — bottle water, sink/tap water, and water from this special filter filtration system. Blind taste with Araya. She named them: water bottle, sink, special water. She said she likes the special water. She drank all of it. That’s the outcome on camera — not a lab TDS chart.

Overall very convenient, easy to use. You set it up, you fill it up, you flush it, then you refill it, and you’ve got yourself some water.

What’s on the unit

Perfectly measured right up top for the different sizes you’d like to use: 180 milliliters, 350 milliliters, 450 milliliters.

That’s what I named from the panel. I’m not locking a model code or a dollar amount here — recheck the live listing.

Did the taste test matter?

I have Araya here and I need your help to help me decide if you can tell which is which. One of these is water bottle water. Another one is tap water — from the sink. And then another one is from this special filter filtration system.

Try each one and tell me what you think.

Araya named all three: this one is the water bottle, this one is the sink, and this one is the special water. Then: I like the special water. You drank all of it.

I did not crown a lab winner. She picked the filtered glass and finished it.

Very convenient. Easy to use. Very very cool piece of equipment.

I’m excited to have this around for the summer season and many more to come.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Countertop setup is super easy — open, fill the tank, plug in, it starts automatically.
  • No under-sink plumbing on the path I showed — fill, plug, flush, refill.
  • Dispense sizes on the unit I named: 180 ml, 350 ml, 450 ml.
  • After the first flushes, the install bubbles were gone and we drank filtered RO water on camera.
  • Blind taste: Araya picked the special/filtered glass and drank all of it.
  • Very convenient, easy to use, very cool piece of equipment for everyday drinking water on the counter.

Cons

  • First setup (and new filters) needs about 3 to 5 flushes — not hard, but it does take a minute.
  • Off taste means flush one more time before you settle on it.
  • Short kitchen video — no TDS meter, no long-term filter-life log, no under-sink comparison.

FAQ

Does the Simpure countertop reverse osmosis filter actually work?
Yes on my counter. Unbox, fill, plug in — it starts automatically. Flush 3 to 5 times on a new unit or new filters. Off taste means flush one more time. After those flushes I refilled — no more install bubbles. Then we drank. Araya did a blind taste (bottle / sink / filtered), named the special water, said she likes it, and drank all of it. That’s the filtration outcome I showed — not a lab chart.

Do I need to plumb it in?
No on the path I filmed. Countertop only. I filled the tank, plugged it in, flushed, refilled. I did not plumb under a sink or run a drain line in this video.

What dispense sizes did you show?
180 ml, 350 ml, and 450 ml — perfectly measured right up top on the unit. That’s what I named on camera.

Is setup hard?
Super easy: open it up, fill it up, plug it in, it starts automatically. The friction is the flush — about 3 to 5 times on first setup or new filters, and it does take a minute. After that, the bubble stuff from install was gone and we were ready to drink.
