Toledo Zoo. GoPro Mission 1 Pro and the DJI Action 5 Pro. Side by side. Nothing too complicated.

I’m not going into the specs. You’ve seen those videos. I wanted the footage next to each other.

Shaded spot. A little sun. I’m on the Action 5 Pro. Then I switch to the Mission 1 Pro. Tell me which one you’re liking more.

This is the audio on the DJI Action 5 Pro. This is the built-in audio on the GoPro Mission 1 Pro.

End of the day. Final thoughts. I’m talking to the Action 5 Pro and it’s still such a good camera. Look at this quality. Low light. Sun going down. I’m in the shadows.

Switch to the Mission 1 Pro. Again, low light. Both of these are 4K by 30. I chose that because I wanted to show the difference in the 1-inch sensor. How much of a difference it’s actually going to make for that price gap.

You don’t have to get the GoPro Mission 1 Pro. The Action 5 Pro is probably plenty for a lot of you content creators. Especially if you’re pointing and shooting on the basic settings.

If you’re a professional and you actually know the settings, yeah, get the Mission 1 Pro. You can get the best quality out of that 1-inch sensor.

Everyday user? I’m switching back to the Action 5 Pro. Honestly any of the other action cameras. Action 6 Pro. Even the Extra Edge Pro. I wouldn’t say the Extra Edge. For the price you might as well get the Extra Edge Pro.

GoPro has come a long way with this updated camera. This one will not disappoint you if you struggled with overheating and struggled with GoPro just not giving you the quality you wanted.

I was super excited about this camera. Personally, I don’t think this is the one for me. If I was going to buy a GoPro, I’d probably get the ALS version. The one where I can actually put different lenses on it.
