Quick take. AuKing sent me this full HD projector. Pretty basic. Fast boot. Compact enough to take to the beach or the park.
Built-in speaker is a little projector speaker — 3.5 mm to a separate device works pretty fantastic. Budget bracket, not the highest-end.
Product was sent to me. Still a 100% honest personal opinion. Check the live listing — prices move.
AuKing HD Projector — the unit I used in my video.
Aloha. Today I reviewed the AuKing home theater projector. This is a full HD projector.
This product was sent to me. I still gave you a 100 honest review. My personal opinion of this projector.
What’s in the box

Hello card first. It gives you the opportunity to activate a two-year warranty and 100% satisfaction guarantee. That is what the card says in the box.
Then the projector. It looks pretty clean. Buttons on top adjust the settings.
Ports I named: headphone jack. AV. TF card. HD connection. USB. VGA. The power port is on the other side.
Underneath is a connection so you can put it on a tripod. On the back: the speakers, LED, focus, and a rubber cap over the lens.
Also in the box: cleaning swab. Instruction manual. QR codes that take you to videos for connecting different devices. Remote control. Power cable. HDMI cable. AV adapter.
AuKing did a pretty good job making sure you have the tools to get started. Cables, remote, connection help, and the projector are all in the unbox.
What I put on the wall
I put it straight on the living-room wall above the couch. Apple TV interface first. Then royalty-free stills — aurora, an ice cave, flowers. I also opened YouTube and played the Avengers: Endgame trailer.
That is the actual wall pass in the video. I switched it over so you could hear audio coming directly from the projector.
The built-in speaker is not super loud. It sounds like a little projector speaker.
Then I connected it to the speaker in the corner to hear the home-theater difference. The white HomePod Mini is in that shot. I am not linking a speaker.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Full HD projector.
- Fast boot up.
- Compact and easy to pack for home, an outing, the beach, or the park.
- Headphone, AV, TF, HD, USB, VGA, power, and a tripod connection give you a lot of wired setup options.
- Remote, power cable, HDMI cable, AV adapter, manual, QR connection help, and cleaning swab come in the box.
- The 3.5 mm connection works pretty fantastic when you add a separate audio device.
Cons
- The built-in speaker is not super loud. It is a little projector speaker.
- Better home-theater sound means bringing and connecting a separate speaker over 3.5 mm.
- This is a pretty basic model.
- It is in the budget bracket, so it is not the highest-end quality projector compared with higher-end competitors.
Is this the one you take with you?
First answer: Yes if you want a basic budget HD projector that is compact, easy to pack, and gives you plenty of wired connections. That’s the fit here.
So far so good. Decent little projector. Especially for its price range. No complaints. Fast boot up. I like this one.
It is a pretty basic model. Home or take it with you. An outing. Movie on the beach. Movie at the park. Pretty compact. Easy to pack.
It is in the affordable budget bracket. It is not the highest-end quality projector like some competitors. But if you want a decent projector at a very affordable price and one you can connect all the cables to, this one pretty much does all of it.
The sound is the limit. Built-in speakers need something else. The 3.5 mm cable works pretty fantastic when connecting this to a separate device.
Hope this helped you in your decision-making, whether or not to buy the AuKing projector. Mahalo and Aloha, Keli’i.

FAQ
Is the AuKing mini / HD projector worth buying?
Yes if you want a decent basic budget HD projector. It boots fast, has plenty of wired connections, and is compact enough to pack for home, an outing, the beach, or the park. I like this one. It is still a pretty basic model, and I said it is not the highest-end quality next to higher-end competitors. The tradeoff is simple: built-in sound is weak and the overall quality is budget-level.
Do the built-in speakers cut it?
No if home-theater sound matters. Audio straight from the projector was not super loud — like a little projector speaker. I connected it to the speaker in the corner for the stronger setup. The 3.5 mm cable works pretty fantastic with a separate device. The white HomePod Mini is only in the shot; I am not linking a speaker.
What’s in the box / ports?
Headphone jack, AV, TF card, HD connection, USB, VGA, power, and a tripod connection underneath. On the back are the speakers, LED, focus, and rubber lens cap. The box also has a remote, power cable, HDMI cable, AV adapter, cleaning swab, instruction manual, and QR-code videos for connecting devices. The hello card offers activation of a two-year warranty and 100% satisfaction guarantee.
