I tested these doorbells. I almost gave up.
TP-Link dropped the Tapo D210. I paid $69. I already had the popular ~$80 Eufy doorbell on the house for a little over a year. Not sponsored.

Tapo D210 vs Eufy 2E: which one looks sharper
Tapo looks sharper. It’s rated 2K and it looks like 2K, day and night. Eufy is also rated 2K. On my porch it does not look as sharp.
What the Eufy 2E still does better
Eufy wins the brain. Human vs animal is better than Tapo. Notifications hit my phone sooner. That surprised me.
The feature I actually wish Eufy had: when someone rings the Tapo, it calls my phone and I’m on with the person at the door. Eufy does not do that. Tapo’s app menus are clearer too.
The catch I said on camera: some Tapo features sit behind a monthly plan. Eufy does not charge me rent to replay my own clips.
Eufy motion can be overly sensitive. I have that on my road. Traffic. Animals. We walk past it all day.
Both are battery, not wired. The box talks like 120 hours. That is not my house. I pull them about once a month, winter or summer. How often it pings you is the battery, not the weather. If you hate charging, get a wired one.
Install is 30 minutes to an hour either way. Tapo has an adhesive option on a flat wall. Both have a drill template.
Honorable mention, on camera: the Eufy E340. Front camera plus a bottom camera so you can see packages under the unit. That’s the one if Amazon boxes walk off the porch. It is not the $80 unit I lived with for a year.
Who I’d send where, from the video: sharper picture + phone-call ring → Tapo D210, and budget the sub. No monthly fee + faster person alerts → the Eufy 2E I already had. Packages under the doorbell → E340.
