Official Edge MSRP is $299.99 with Chime. eufy says late September availability in the U.S. and other regions. The real win on paper is 9MP / 3K, 180° coverage, OmniTrack, and local-first Edge framing via HomeBase S380. The real limit is I have not installed this doorbell, and a lot of “S4” search results are the wrong product. This is first impressions from the Edge announce, not a hands-on.

What I actually know right now
I have not mounted this doorbell. There is no KeliiDiscovers footage for Video Doorbell S4. Everything below is announce and official product copy from Anker’s Edge 5.0 Fall Media Showcase (Sep 25, 2026), eufy’s Edge hub, and regional doorbell pages — unless I say otherwise.
This is a doorbell. It is not the solar SoloCam S4. It is not eufyCam S4. It is not S4 Max. Amazon and Reddit “S4” hits mix those cameras in all the time. If you’re shopping the wrong SKU, stop here and check the name on the box.

eufy lists 9MP / 3K (3072×3072), 180° × 180° panoramic coverage, OmniTrack with auto-framing, and a VR-style view. Spec, not a test I ran.

Power and Chime
Edge MSRP is $299.99 with Chime. Official regional product FAQ language for this SKU is wired-only (AC 16–24V). Some older CES / IFA writeups talked about more flexible power. I’m leading with the current official regional PDP wording, not those older press takes.
US marketing also mentions a backup battery around 2,600 mAh. Spec, not a test I ran.
HomeBase and storage
Edge positions the lineup around HomeBase S380, local-first storage, and no monthly fee for core local features. Regional pages list HomeBase S380, Mini, Pro S1, MindBase, NVR, and Smart Display E10 paths. Apple HomeKit is called out with HomeBase S380 or MindBase on some FAQs.
Local storage numbers conflict across pages (some EU tables say 4 GB eMMC; older CES/IFA press said 64 GB). I’m not inventing one number. Check the live regional page for the unit you buy.
Availability note
EIN says late September in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Middle East, Africa, and select European markets. On research day, the US marketing page showed Sold Out messaging, and some EU pages pointed at later dispatch. Don’t treat “late September” as a promise that a cart ships this week.
