People were calling the Eufy SoloCam S220 the forever outdoor camera. I wanted to know if that was real or just a thumbnail.

Does the S220 really run forever on solar?
In the description I called it solar powered, super compact, and said it will run practically forever.
On camera I said the same pitch out loud. This is a Eufy S220 SoloCam. Solar. It charges itself with only three hours of sunlight a day. I put a “Lasts and Lasts” card over the panel. 3 hours of sunshine for all-day power. That is the claim I showed. I did not sit there and log winter watts.
I also said it is tiny but mighty. Super easy to install. IP67. Rain, hail, sun. I held the body in one hand on the deck. Then I showed it on a porch beam.
I bought it on Amazon Day 2023. In that description I told people to check them again in October 2023. That month is gone. Check the live price.
Is the S220 solar camera worth it?
If you want one small solar cam that sits on a wall and does not ask you for a cable, this is the first one I put on a house like mine.
What I actually said in the Short:
High quality resolution. I said 2K. That is printed on the side of the unit I held.
Night vision. I said it has it. I did not show a night clip in this video. I am not going to grade dark footage I did not put on screen.
Smart AI recognition. Built-in tech that tells the difference. I flashed daytime clips from this camera: people walking the lawn with buckets. Me on the mower. The white hatchback in the driveway.
Two-way audio.
Security zones. I said you can set them super easy.
Wider range of view. I said an impressive 135. That number is what I said on camera. Not a tape I ran across the yard.
In the description I called the app UI superb. I pointed at a phone in one clip. I did not walk the menus in this Short.
This clip does not say I sent it back. It does not say I kept it. It is the first look.
