They sent me this Lifengsoler 1500 camping light. I clipped it on the farm and the basement stairs.

They sent me this Lifengsoler 1500 camping light. I clipped it on the farm and the basement stairs.

This one was sent to me. I was just sent one of the coolest gadgets I’ve come across so far.

Forgive me if I botch the name. This is the Lifengsoler 1500 lumens solar camping light. There’s no brand printed on the camo unit.

I unboxed it and used it around the house and the farm.

What I actually did with it

Solar camping light on basement stairs, motion on

Hands-free. Across the farm I clipped it onto a post, a roof, or a tree branch. Live placements I showed: flagpole, farm fence post, roof of a red shed, tree branch.

I put it in the kitchen sink and ran the faucet over it. IP68 water resistance — practically waterproof. Camping or a rainy adventure companion.

I clipped it to the basement stair handrail as a temporary hall light because the basement light needs to be replaced. Built-in light sensor. Game changer for power management. It stays off while I’m away. The moment I open the door or turn the corner heading up the stairs, the sensor catches my movement and lights the path.

Remote tweaks the hue from cool white to warm white. In the bags: attachable handle for portability, a tripod adapter, plus the remote.

Simple design — kind of like a giant clothesline clip. Girth. Feels super durable. Handy for emergency situations or power outages too.

What’s on the unit

1500 lumens. Pretty darn bright. 208 LEDs. 6000 milliamp hours of battery.

Massive solar panel. Solar or USB-C to charge it. USB out if you need to top up smaller devices.

USB-C and USB-A ports with rubber flap on the solar camping light

Girth. Feels super durable. I’m not locking a dollar amount — recheck the live listing.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Hands-free clip-on — farm post/roof/tree + basement stair hall light shown.
  • Built-in light sensor lights the path when you turn the corner.
  • IP68 faucet test on camera — practically waterproof per what I said.
  • 1500 lm / 208 LEDs / 6000 mAh + massive solar + USB-C in / USB out spoken.
  • Remote cool white → warm white; handle + tripod adapter in the bags.
  • Girth / clothesline-clip shape — feels super durable.

Cons

  • Exact light from the video is out of stock — the link below is the closest in-stock listing, not the exact light in my video.
  • Short video — no lumen meter log, no overnight run timer, no all-week camping proof.
  • No keep-or-return speech and no spoken dollar amount — check the live listing.
  • Brand name is easy to botch; no brand printed on the camo unit.
  • Whisper/auto-title noise exists elsewhere — this post stays on rewatch/live locks only.

Is it a must-have?

I really didn’t expect this solar light to have so many practical and convenient features built into it. Convenience. Preparedness. Outdoors. Camping.

Who should buy it: You want a clip-on solar camping light with a motion sensor for a dark stair or farm path, IP68-class water resistance, and USB pass-through when the sun hides.

Who should skip it (from my video): You need a long lab-grade brightness log or a unit that’s in stock as the exact video SKU — the exact light is OOS; the CTA is a similar option only.

I like it. I like the thing. It’s a good thing.
