What I actually showed

Same portable wireless lineup. Only Capsule 3 and Capsule 3 Laser are truly wireless and super portable in that set. P1 is not one of those two.

P1: 1080p. About 650 ANSI — almost double the P1i number I spoke. Detachable 10-W speakers. Up to about 180″ projection spoken. Dual-arm gimbal about 130°. Google TV. Very fast processor. Setup felt seamless.

No built-in battery. Needs an external power supply or a portable power station if you want it off-grid.

Higher price for the premium brightness and features. Probably one of my favorites if I can afford that price tag. Bigger budget, on sale, and if it were completely wireless — I’d buy this hands down for the processor and the detachable speakers / audio.

Does it need power?

Yes. No built-in battery in my video. Plug in, or bring a power station. Don’t buy it expecting Capsule-style true wireless.

Brightness and audio

Spoken about 650 ANSI. Detachable speakers stood out. That’s the premium pitch — not the wireless pitch.

  • Seamless setup in my video
  • Google TV built in
  • Not sponsored — own money

Cons

  • Needs power — not truly wireless
  • No built-in battery

  • Wrong pick if “no plug” is the whole job
  • Premium features don’t fix the power cord

Who it’s for / not for

For: Bigger budget buyers who want brightness, processor, and detachable audio — and don’t mind plugging in.

Not for: Anyone shopping true wireless portable. That’s Capsule 3 or Capsule 3 Laser in my video.

FAQ

Is the Nebula P1 worth buying if it still needs power?
Yes — if you can afford it and plugging in is fine. Favorite in my video for brightness, processor, and detachable speakers. Needs power is the trade. Not wireless.

Does the P1 have a battery?
No built-in battery in my video. Needs an external power supply or a portable power station for off-grid. Don’t buy it expecting Capsule-style true wireless.

Is it truly wireless / portable without a plug?
No. It still needs power. In that lineup only Capsule 3 and Capsule 3 Laser were truly wireless and super portable.

How bright is it?
About 650 ANSI spoken — almost double the P1i’s ~380 in the same video. That’s the premium pitch, not the wireless pitch.

What’s good about P1 then?
Detachable 10W speakers / audio, fast processor, seamless setup, Google TV, and that ~650 ANSI brightness — if you’re fine with a cord and the higher price.

P1 or P1i?
P1 if budget allows and you want the brighter / premium path (still accept power). P1i for entry budget + plug-in. Sister compare has the split.

P1 or Capsule 3?
Capsule 3 (or Capsule 3 Laser) if true wireless matters. P1 if brightness + detachable audio win and plugging in / a power station is fine.

What did you pay for P1?
I didn’t lock a dollar for P1 in my video. Check the live listing.
