Great quick gift. I gripe about Frameo subscription plans — you can still use it without paying. Check the live listing.

What I actually showed

Family photo on the Apolosign 9.7 screen

Watch me unbox it while I talk specs. Device in the box. Power adapter. Manual. I attached the back stand on camera.

This is the Apolosign 9.7-inch touchscreen smart photo frame. Frameo boots on the screen — that’s the app / boot logo, not a second frame.

Setup / app flow (filmed): Download the app. Connect it to the device. Instantaneously upload new photos from the phone — iPhone, Android, or Google Play, as I said. Touchscreen settings on the frame. Change the slideshow time and other user-friendly settings right there.

Frameo boot on the frame and app upload on the phone

Display quality: High-definition photos on this display turn out really nice. On camera I had family photos, kids, and a flower cycling on the screen. That’s the ’what I showed’ pass — not a lab brightness log.

Storage (said while unboxing): Up to 32 GB internal. Expandable up to 128 GB SD card.

Photo / video handling: Photos and videos. Best at 4:3 aspect. Slideshow timing is adjustable in settings. Instant upload from your devices once the app is connected.

No-subscription boundary: There is a paid subscription fee for more premium features. You can use this without the premium subscription fee on the app side. SD card, or the app to upload at least 10 images at a time — still enjoy what the app offers. I personally just don’t like subscription plans. That’s my gripe. Frameo has a plan. You don’t have to activate it to use the device.

Do I need the Frameo subscription?

No. Paid subscription for more premium features. You can use the device without activating a subscription.

SD card, or the app to upload at least 10 images at a time. Still enjoy what the app offers — including those high-definition photos that turn out really nice on the display.

I personally just don’t like subscription plans. That’s my gripe with the Frameo app side. The boundary is clear in my video: premium is optional; the frame still works without paying.

Is it a good gift?

Great gift for anybody looking for something really quick to give somebody. Works for practically anyone who enjoys taking photos or having photos of people, things, and places they care about — upload, present, edit on a slideshow.

I’ve fallen in love with it because I can relive precious moments from my life, my kids’ life, and my family’s life. HD photos on this display turn out really nice.

That’s the gift pitch from my video — quick to give, family moments on the screen, Frameo uploads from the phone.

Who this is for / not

For: Quick gift for someone who loves family photos; anyone fine using Frameo with or without the premium sub; people who want easy app uploads + HD photos on a 9.7 touchscreen and don’t mind optional premium.

Not for: People who refuse any app-tied frame; anyone who won’t accept a Frameo subscription existing even if they never pay; anyone hunting a spoken price lock or keep-or-return verdict (neither is in my video).
