We’re going to be real simple.
This is the test I filmed on Keli’i Discovers: Hamilton Beach 10-cup food processor.
Candy canes and peanuts
Candy canes first. Same as the other one. I can load from the top. I didn’t. Front. First level. Pump mode. One turn, one pump. It doesn’t just run and obliterate the product.
A few pumps. Great job. A couple of chunks still. Powder under the big pieces. Couple more pumps if you want it finer. For a holiday treat, fantastic.
Peanuts next. If somebody in the house is allergic, get a separate processor just for peanuts. Be safe.
Safety feature: if you’re not locked in, this will not activate. Locked. Five pulses. Already a super good job. Then I cranked it to one. Then two. I wanted a nice fine powder for peanut butter.
This is the upgraded version of the smaller Hamilton Beach. 10 cups versus 3 cups. More power. Loading chute. You can quickly clean the sides.
Final peanut: no chunks. Fine enough that we’re at peanut butter. Some stuck to the bottom. We probably could have blitzed it longer. That’s what we got in the 10-cup.
The onion and the scrapers
Last. An onion. Everyday prep. Loads in the chute. No problem. It obliterated that onion. Probably done after the first pulse.
Side by side with the 3-cup. 3-cup after a few pumps is pretty even. You can see them next to each other.
These little scrapers. I love this. Guacamole. Onions. Peanut butter. Scrape the sides and let it keep going. Simple. Huge benefit.
Line it up. Lock the handle on the right of the knob. Chute on the same side as the handle. I unplug it to load and unload.
It does what we want. Peanut butter. Guacamole. Everyday food prep. Holiday treats.
