Quick take
Most people should start with the Horizon 30 Pro. It’s the cheapest of the three at $1,899 on pre-order, per XGIMI. Step up to the Max or Ultra Max only if you have a big screen or a room you can’t get fully dark. I haven’t had one in my hands. This is a first look from XGIMI’s specs and pricing, not a review. Prices move, so check the live listing.

What I actually showed
Nothing yet. I haven’t filmed the Horizon 30. Everything below is XGIMI’s specs and pricing. If one comes through the door, the video goes here.
Which tier should you pick?

The big differences between the tiers are brightness, contrast and price. XGIMI’s specs, not a test I ran:
- Pro: 4800 ISO lumens, 8,000:1 native contrast, $1,899 pre-order.
- Max: 5300 ISO lumens, 9,000:1 native contrast, $2,499 pre-order.
- Ultra Max: 6000 ISO lumens, 10,000:1 native contrast, $2,999 pre-order.
I expect the Pro to make sense in a dark room. Each step up adds brightness and contrast for another $500 or so on pre-order. Pay for that only if you have ambient light or a big screen.
Horizon 30 vs Horizon 20
XGIMI names the Horizon 30 as the next generation of the Horizon line. I’m not going to put numbers on the 20 here that I can’t source. Compare the two side by side on XGIMI’s live pages before you upgrade.
When can you get one?
XGIMI’s dates: pre-orders run Oct 12–31, 2026, and regular sales start Nov 1. As of Oct 12 I didn’t find it on Amazon, so the link goes to XGIMI for now.
