Is the Ninja PREPi worth $179.99–$229.99?

Is the Ninja PREPi worth $179.99–$229.99?

Quick take

Maybe, if you want a compact prep-and-store system and you’re shopping launch-day specs. Official MSRP is $179.99 for the 5-in-1 (PN301) and $229.99 for the 6-in-1 with dicing (PN351). On paper the win is chop / slice / shred / puree / crinkle in one small base, plus bowls that double as fridge storage. The real limit is I have not run a PREPi on my counter. First impressions only.

What I actually know right now

I have not used a Ninja PREPi. There is no KeliiDiscovers footage for this SKU. Everything below comes from SharkNinja’s US product pages for PN301 and PN351 on announce day (Oct 2, 2026) and the public launch wire — unless I say otherwise.

This is not the Ninja MultiPot XL. Different product. MultiPot stays parked until that tape is converted.

What PREPi is trying to be (on paper)

SharkNinja frames PREPi as a compact chopper / slicer / shredder you prep in, serve from, then snap a lid on and put in the fridge. No transfer bowl. No extra food-storage stack for that batch. Spec, not a test I ran.

Both kits include a 5-cup bowl and a 7-cup bowl, each with a storage lid and spindle. Marketing pitch: prep in one while the other is already stored.

Cuts and kits

PN301 (5-in-1): crinkle cut, chop, puree, slice, shred. Box lists a crinkle-cut disc, a reversible slice-and-shred disc, and a chop/puree blade.

PN351 (6-in-1): same five jobs plus a dicing kit. SharkNinja copy claims the dicing kit is for even dice in salads and salsas, and markets “5X faster dicing” with an asterisk on the PN351 page — I am not repeating that as my result. Spec, not a test I ran.

Both share a 500-watt base.

How this compares

I have not filmed PREPi. For Ninja kitchen context we already cover, see the Ninja Creami Swirl review. That page is not a PREPi hands-on.

Pros and cons

Pros (on paper)

  • Clear two-SKU ladder: $179.99 without dice, $229.99 with the dicing kit
  • Prep, serve, and store from the same bowls with snap-on lids
  • Two bowl sizes in the box (5-cup and 7-cup)
  • Reversible slice/shred disc plus dedicated crinkle disc
  • Compact footprint claim with a 500 W motor
  • Same-day buyable launch on sharkninja.com

Cons (so far)

  • No hands-on cut quality, cleanup, or noise picture from me yet
  • $50 jump to PN351 is only worth it if you actually want dicing
  • 12.69 lb is not a “toss it under a shelf” toy — check your counter space
  • “5X faster dicing” is SharkNinja marketing with an asterisk, not my timing
  • Easy to confuse with other Ninja kitchen launches; this is not MultiPot XL

Who it’s for

  • Meal-prep shoppers who want chop / slice / shred / puree in one compact base on paper
  • People who like the idea of fridge lids on the same bowls they just prepped in
  • Buyers comparing PN301 vs PN351 only because they care about dicing

Who it’s not for

  • Anyone who needs a keep/return verdict from me today
  • Shoppers who meant MultiPot XL or another Ninja kitchen SKU
  • Knife-skill people who already hate food-processor cleanup and want proof PREPi is easier

vs what I’d buy instead

Ninja Creami Swirl for the Ninja kitchen sister we already filmed. Different job. Not a PREPi substitute.

FAQ

How much is the Ninja PREPi?

$179.99 for PN301 (5-in-1). $229.99 for PN351 (6-in-1 with dicing). Check the live listing.

What’s the difference between PN301 and PN351?

PN351 adds the dicing kit. Both include 5-cup and 7-cup bowls with lids, the crinkle disc, the reversible slice/shred disc, the chop/puree blade, and the 500 W base, per SharkNinja.

Is Ninja PREPi a food processor?

SharkNinja sells it as a compact prep + store system that chops, slices, shreds, purees, crinkle-cuts, and (on PN351) dices. Treat retailer “food processor” labels as category tags, not my hands-on verdict.

Is there a Ninja PREPi review yet?

Not from me. Empty review intent in search is why this is a first-impressions post, not a keep/return verdict.

Should I buy the 5-in-1 or the 6-in-1?

Buy PN301 if you don’t need dicing. Buy PN351 if the dicing kit is the reason you’re shopping. I have not timed either kit.

Where can I buy Ninja PREPi today?

Amazon primary CTAs above: PN301 Black and PN351. SharkNinja, Target, and Best Buy also list them. Check the live listing you actually want.

Close

That’s the launch-day picture for Ninja PREPi. I plan to buy and test these myself to see if I was right, check back.
